Rvvupdates Dec 25

As we close out the year, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on what we’ve been building at Rvvup. Over the past twelve months, our focus has stayed consistent. We want to make it easier for businesses to get paid, cut down on unnecessary admin, and give teams clearer visibility and control over their payments.

Whether it was expanding payment methods, improving invoicing and reconciliation, or refining how customers and teams use the platform, progress this year has been steady and practical. Much of it has been shaped directly by feedback from the merchants using Rvvup day to day.

Pay with DivideBuy, PayPal Capture Later and Klarna

Smarter ways to get paid

This year, we focused on giving customers more choice at the point of payment, while helping merchants convert more transactions without adding complexity. By expanding the range of payment methods available through Rvvup, businesses can meet customers where they are, while staying in control of how they get paid.

A key part of this has been expanding support for flexible retail finance. Alongside Klarna and PayPal Capture Later, we added DivideBuy, allowing merchants to offer a wider range of customer finance options at checkout. These include interest-free and interest-bearing plans, with repayment terms ranging from 3 to 120 months, covering both regulated and unregulated finance solutions.

Combined with Payment Method Limits, merchants can decide when and how these finance options are presented — helping balance conversion, customer choice, and cost across different transaction values.

Rvvup Invoicing

Better invoicing and accounts receivable

Invoicing became a major focus this year, with a clear goal: reduce admin, speed up payments, and make reconciliation easier.

We introduced fully branded invoices with built-in payments, alongside static payment links and automated payment reminders to help merchants get paid faster without chasing. Credit notes were extended to be more powerful and easier to use, and we launched PayIns, allowing Accounts Receivable BACS payments to be routed via Rvvup for smoother reconciliation. To support better day-to-day visibility, we also added a dashboard balance feature for intraday tracking.

Improvements to checkout and customer experience

We continued to refine how customers experience payments, giving merchants more control over branding and flow without adding setup effort.

Checkout templates now make it easy to create consistent, branded checkout experiences, while improvements across invoice and checkout payment flows ensure customers see a familiar, trusted journey. We also introduced a streamlined Virtual Terminal, making it quicker and easier to take payments when needed.

Customer management and team access

As merchants scale, visibility and control become more important. This year, we focused on making it easier to manage customers and collaborate across teams.

Customer Accounts now allow merchants to edit and search customer records, send Payment Links, manage Virtual Terminal activity, and view payment history in one place. We also added support for multiple users on a Rvvup account, giving teams shared visibility into payments without relying on a single login.

Platform growth and integrations

Rvvup became available on the Xero App Store this year, making it easier for Xero users to discover, connect, and start taking payments through Rvvup. Mid-year, we brought together smart invoicing with built-in payments, customer accounts, and Xero integration into a more joined-up experience — reducing friction from invoice to payment to reconciliation.

Rvvup x Zopa

A new chapter for Rvvup

In August, Rvvup joined the Zopa Group, marking a significant milestone in our journey. This partnership gives Rvvup the backing to accelerate product development, deepen integrations, and continue investing in the platform — while staying focused on building tools that solve real payment problems for growing businesses. As we look ahead to 2026, we’re excited about what this enables. We’ll continue building out flexible payment and retail finance capabilities, alongside further simplifying invoicing, reconciliation, and the end-to-end payment journey - all while keeping merchants in control of how they get paid.

Thank you for being part of the Rvvup journey this year. We’re looking forward to what’s next.
